🌍 USING YOUR US NUMBER OUTSIDE THE USA

Tello is a US carrier. If you are outside the USA, Wi-Fi Calling can allow you to use your US number over a Wi-Fi connection, subject to Tello’s service and device requirements.

🔹 OPTION 1 — Wi-Fi Calling

  1. Activate your SIM.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi Calling on your phone.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi.
  4. Use your US number for calls and texts where supported.

This is useful when you are outside the USA and do not want to rely on US mobile data.

🔹 OPTION 2 — Dual SIM Setup

For phones that support dual SIM:

  • Use your local SIM for mobile data.
  • Use your Tello SIM for your US number and Wi-Fi Calling.

This can be a convenient setup for people who live or travel outside the USA.

🌎 FREE INTERNATIONAL CALLING

Eligible Tello plans include FREE calls to 60+ international destinations.

Destinations include countries such as:

UK, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, France, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and more.

📌 Some destinations may include landlines only.
📌 International calling availability depends on the plan and destination.

🌍 WHAT IF MY COUNTRY IS NOT INCLUDED?

You may still be able to call international destinations using Tello Pay As You Go credit.

International rates vary depending on the destination.

📶 IMPORTANT DATA INFORMATION

If you are outside the USA:

Mobile data availability is different from Wi-Fi Calling.

For internet access outside the USA, you can use:

  • Your local SIM
  • Wi-Fi

A dual-SIM setup can therefore be useful when using your US number internationally.

📱 DEVICE REQUIREMENTS

Before purchasing, make sure your phone:

Optional: Let Us Manage Your Recurring Payment

Don’t want to worry about remembering your monthly renewal?

You can choose our Recurring Payment Management option when purchasing your SIM. You pay us the renewal amount in advance, and we make the recurring payment for your SIM on your behalf.

A $5 management fee is added to the renewal amount for this service.

How it works:

  1. Choose the “Yes- Manage monthly refills ($5/mo fee)” option when placing your order.
  2. Pay the renewal amount plus the $5 management fee.
  3. When your SIM renewal is due, we make the payment on your behalf.
  4. Your SIM service continues without you having to make the payment yourself.

This service is optional. If you prefer to manage your own recurring payments, you can choose the regular option and handle renewals directly with the carrier.
